NEEDHAM—Diane Judson was recently appointed vice president of network integration for Wingate Healthcare’s New York and west regions. Judson has worked with Wingate since 2013 and brings more than 25 years’ experience in healthcare to her new role. Judson served as director of nursing and patient care services for nine years at a skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility in Connecticut before joining Wingate. During her time as director, she implemented an innovative Patient Navigation and Care Partner program based on health care standards and evidence-based best practices.
Her work in the area of transitional care has been recognized both regionally and nationally, and allowed her to implement a transitional care model at Wingate’s New York facilities; two Wingate New York facilities received the 2017 IPRO Quality Award in Transitions of Care following her implementation Judson holds degrees in nursing and healthcare business management. She also serves as an advisor to several hospitals, physician groups and community-based providers on transitional care. Her work has been featured in industry publications, including Provider Magazine. She will continue to draw on her passion for seniors and nursing home patients while implementing new initiatives at Wingate communities. Judson resides in Dover Plains, New York.
