WESTON, Mass. — Michelle Katz was named administrator of Wingate at Weston, a skilled nursing community offering short-term rehab, long-term care and respite care to seniors and their families. As administrator, Katz will oversee the entire skilled nursing community and work with the team at Wingate Residences at Weston, a memory care assisted living community situated on the same continuum of care campus, to ensure all residents receive top quality care. In addition, Katz will ensure all state and federal standards and regulations are met.
With over 10 years’ experience in long-term care settings, Katz has served as administrator and executive director of senior living communities throughout Massachusetts. Most recently, she served as administrator of Massachusetts-based senior care community CareOne.
“I enjoy making a difference in the lives of seniors when they can’t be at home,” Katz said. “And, I like how Wingate is really truly family orientated. They have high expectations to ensure staff and residents feel like they’re part of the family.”
Katz holds a Bachelor of Applied Health Science from Bowling Green State University and a Master of Health Administration in long-term care management from Ohio University.
Located at 75 Norumbega Road, Wingate at Weston provides traditional long-term care, short-term rehabilitation services and respite care to seniors. The skilled nursing community is situated on a continuum of care campus with Wingate Residences at Weston, a 21-unit memory care assisted living community.
