Wicked Local and Kingston Reporter readers voted Wingate Residences at Silver Lake best Assisted Living Community in the South Shore region with a gold award for this year’s 2017 Reader’s Choice Awards.
“It’s a true testament to the fact that we run a really great facility,” said Paul Souza, interim executive director of the Inn and Residences at Silver Lake.
The Residences at Silver Lake offers assisted living for seniors and is housed on the Silver Lake continuum of care campus, featuring independent living and memory care at the Inn at Silver Lake and skilled nursing at Wingate at Silver Lake.
In 2016, the Wingate Residences at Silver Lake was voted the No. 1 Choice in both the assisted living and retirement living residence categories of Kingston local services competition. The Residences at Silver Lake also won the silver award for best Assisted Living Community in the South Shore region that same year.

Wingate at Silver Lake was also recently recognized by the Center for Medicare & Medicaid Services with a 5-star care rating.
“These awards show the hard work and dedication of the staff,” Souza said.
