She is the author of several cookbooks, all created to help the home cook land a tasty dinner on the table each night! At the event, Sara demonstrated recipes from her new book “Sara Moulton’s Home Cooking 101: How to Make Everything Taste Better.” From Creamy Root Vegetable Soup with Everything Pita Crisps to Bananas Foster Crepes, guests enjoyed some of Sara’s favorite recipes while she shared cooking tips and stories of working with Julia Child and cooking for her family. Sara then signed copies of her new book for the crowd.
“We loved having Sara here,” says Maria Lastoria, Executive Director. “She is so engaged with people and her passion is contagious. We’re currently planning our menus and dining program for One Wingate Way, a new 52-unit Independent Living apartment building next door to the Residences. We’d love to have Sara back for another event and maybe even feature one of her recipes on our menu!”
