HARWICH, Mass. — Wingate at Harwich, a skilled nursing facility owned and operated by Wingate Healthcare, has named Kathleen Griswold director of nursing. Griswold has extensive clinical and management experience in post-acute care settings and has served in the nursing field for over 43 years.
Formerly the director of nursing for Eagle Pond Rehabilitation and Living Center, a 142-bed nursing home in South Dennis, Mass., Griswold has also held the roles of associate director of nursing, nurse manager and staff nurse. She holds chemotherapy, telemetry and drug certifications.
Griswold has Bachelor of Science in nursing from Graceland University and a nursing diploma from Fall River School of Nursing. She is the two-time recipient of the Carolyn Murray Scholarship Award and serves on the health sciences advisory board at Cape Cod Regional Technical High School.
Located at 111 Headwaters Drive, Wingate at Harwich provides traditional long-term care, short-term rehabilitation services, respite care and a specialized program for individuals with memory care needs.
