READING—Wingate Healthcare recently named Gail Infurna, R.N., clinical liaison to serve patients and families in the Reading, Wakefield, Stoneham and Melrose area. She will coordinate with hospitals and discharge planners to evaluate patients and ensure they are directed to the correct type of care, including skilled nursing and rehabilitation as well as long-term care. Infurna served as the admissions director at Wingate at Melrose for 12 years prior to this role.
With more than 30 years’ experience in nursing and management, Infurna’s excellent track record in senior healthcare will ensure success in her new role at Wingate. A respected member of the healthcare community, Infurna discusses health issues in her monthly “To Your Health” columns, printed exclusively in the Melrose Free Press and Reading Advocate.
