KINGSTON, Mass. — Wingate at Silver Lake, a skilled nursing community owned and operated by Wingate Healthcare, has named Pamela Hiltz director of nursing. Hiltz served as assistant director of nursing for Wingate at Silver Lake between 2002 and 2007.
“I’m excited to represent a community that is committed to providing outstanding, resident-centered care,” Hiltz said.
Hiltz has over 21 years of experience as a nurse in long-term care settings. Prior to her new role, she served as director of nursing services for a 101-bed, short- and long-term care facility in Braintree, Mass. She’s also held the roles of assistant director of nursing services and nurse manager at other long-term care facilities in Massachusetts, ranging from 45- to 164-bed facilities.
Hiltz holds a bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Massachusetts Boston.
Located at 17 Chipman Way, Wingate at Silver Lake is part of a campus that provides a continuum of care, including both traditional and transitional assisted living, independent living options, short-term rehabilitation services and a special neighborhood for individuals with memory care needs.
